Our mission is simple: to be a catalyst for positive change through the teachings of Jesus Christ. We strive to impact Eastern North Carolina by encouraging personal growth, fostering meaningful relationships, and serving our community.

Our Values

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ. 


Love God

Gospel-Centered Living. We believe we were created to know and love God, and the brokenness people feel stems from being separated from Him. Through Jesus—God in the flesh—who gave His life to bridge that gap, we receive new life when we surrender to Him and embrace the gospel, learning to love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. (Matthew 22:37, Romans 12:1)


Love Each Other

Gospel-Centered Community. Love marks a true follower of Jesus, and that love thrives in genuine community. At Catalyst, we do life together—sharing, supporting, and creating space where everyone belongs. (Proverbs 27:10)


Love Our World

Gospel-Centered Mission. At Catalyst Church, we exist to glorify God by loving all people into a growing relationship with Jesus. We believe ministry happens not just in church, but everywhere we go—because Jesus desires to redeem every part of our world. (Ephesians 3:10, Romans 10:13–14)

  • In the essential beliefs - we have unity

    There is one Body and one Spirit...there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all... EPHESIANS 4:4-6

  • In the non-essential beliefs – we have liberty.

    Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgement on disputable matters... Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls...So then each of us will give an account of himself to God... So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. ROMANS 14:1,4,12,22
