Local Ministry Partners

Baptist Children’s Home of NC (THE KENNEDY HOME)
The Kennedy Home, located in Kinston, provides a safe environment for children to live in “family style” cottages who would otherwise have no safe place to live. Brian summed it up when he said, “Anything that your folks have a gift in, we can likely use!” // Director: Chris Allabaugh //

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The FCA provides you the greatest platform in our world – sports – to share the greatest message in our world – the Gospel! If God has laid it on your heart to become a teammate of FCA, please contact Ken Lovell for more information. // Area Director: Ken Lovell //

Onslow Community Outreach
Also known as the “Homeless Ministry,” this organization needs volunteers to serve in their soup kitchen, provide meals on weekends, donate gas cards to their food delivery trucks, provide trained medical staff for their clinics, donate bedding and toiletries, or provide a gift to one of the many children living in their shelters. // Community Relations Specialist: Jessica Leon //

Onslow Pregnancy Resource Center (OPRC)
This outreach opportunity exists for men and women! Women are being sought for Mommy Boutique and Peer Counseling and men are being sought who can come alongside the soon to-be-dad’s and mentor them, too. // Marketing and Event Specialist: Krysia Davis //

Philippians Place Ministries
Philippians Place is a non-profit organization in Onslow County dedicated to providing supportive services and housing assistance to individuals and/or families who are homeless or facing homelessness. // Director: Lenize Patton //
